Meet Dr. Jason Marrazzo
Dr. Jason Marrazzo began his education at the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated magna cum laude, earning his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with the intent to pursue a career in either dentistry or medicine. After spending time in the offices of both fields, he realized the more personal patient interactions of dentistry suited him best. He continued his education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree while graduating among the top of his class.
Dr. Jason Marrazzo decided to continue his post-doctoral training in Washington, DC, where he completed a competitive residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Washington Hospital Center (WHC). This residency at WHC is regarded as being one of the top programs in the country for their dental implant surgery and orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery) training, both of which utilize the latest technology as well as CT guided surgical planning. They also have a strong emphasis on advanced bone grafting techniques, complex facial trauma reconstruction, general anesthesia and maxillofacial pathology. In addition to WHC, Dr. Marrazzo also completed rotations at Children’s National Medical Center, John’s Hopkins University, the National Institutes of Health and the Washington, DC, VA Medical Center.
Dr. Jason Marrazzo has special interest and passion in complex dental implant surgery, advanced bone grafting, orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), facial trauma reconstruction and maxillofacial pathology.
